We serve with empathy, understanding, and a deep commitment to human dignity.

Prevention First

We believe awareness and early detection are the most powerful tools in saving lives.

Accessibility

Healthcare knowledge and resources should be available to everyone regardless of location or income.

Community Impact

We focus on reaching underserved communities where the need is greatest.

OUR STORY

The Gilbert & Mercy Doho Legacy Foundation was born from a deeply personal experience that changed everything.

Founded by four sisters, the organization was inspired by their father’s cancer journey—and the devastating reality of a missed diagnosis. What could have been prevented became a life-altering loss.

In that moment, a mission was born.

A mission to ensure that no other family would have to face the pain of losing a loved one due to lack of awareness, delayed diagnosis, or limited access to care.

Today, the foundation stands as a bridge between knowledge and access—bringing life-saving education, early detection awareness, and healthcare resources to underserved communities in the United States and Cameroon.

OUR MISSION

The Gilbert & Mercy Doho Legacy Foundation is dedicated to advancing health awareness, early detection, and access to care—so no family has to experience preventable loss.
We are committed to improving health outcomes by raising awareness, promoting early detection, and expanding access to essential health education and resources.

Because early action can save lives—and everyone deserves that chance.

Why Our Work Matters

Every day, lives are lost to preventable conditions—not because solutions don’t exist, but because access and awareness do not.

We are working to change that.

Through education, outreach, and early detection, we are not just improving health—we are saving lives, strengthening families, and building healthier communities for generations to come.
